Meron kayong ibang set of talents, gifting, at strengths. Ang Key dito is tanungin si God what He has for you in this season at kung ano yung gusto Niyang mangyari na babangga sa character, heart and giftings nyo. Be fully dependent on Him not on the past or to others.

PS: PRAYER is the key, kaya tigilan na ang pagpapanggap at totoong manalangin.

TIPS IN FINDING YOUR TOTGA (The One That God Allowed)

Paano mo nga ba masasabi na He/She is the one? Mayroon nga bang right person for someone? Maraming principles at guidelines na binigay si Lord pagdating sa panliligaw at paghahanap ng “the one”.

1. Do not be yoked with someone who is not believer.  Sa tagalog, wag ka daw makipamatok sa di mananampalataya!

2. DON’T FOCUS ON PHYSICAL APPEARANCE. Gusto natin gwapo, maputi, matangkad, at marami pang iba. Ang problema, pano na kapag hindi naman yun ang magiging asawa mo, ‘di ba? For me, ito yung mga standards na hindi naman masyadong importante. In the future kasi, magbabago rin yan, kukulubot, papangit. Pero hindi ibig sabihin that your spouse would love you less.

3. LOVE IS A DECISION. Love is not a feeling, although part ito, but ultimately love is a decision. Tulad kung paano tayo minahal ni Lord, it was a decision. Sabi nga sa Romans 5:8 “while we were still sinners Christ died for us”. Ibig sabihin, while we were at our worst state he decided to love us. Kaya nga dapat center si Lord ng relationship. At sa tingin ko, the right time for a person para maghanap ng spouse is the time where he or she will decide “to love is not just to get but to actually give as Christ did for us”.

4. FIND YOUR “TOTGA” IN CHURCH. Saan ba pwedeng maghanap ng babae/lalaki na mahal si Lord? Bakit parang hirap na hirap kang mahanap siya. Ang tanong, san ka ba naghahanap? Stop looking at the wrong place.

5. VALUES ARE VERY IMPORTANT. Dapat parehas kayo ng values at parehas kayo ng pananampalataya. Sabi nga sa Bible, do not be yoked with unbeliever! Isipin mo na lang what if you have different values of faith with your spouse? Naku po matinding away yan in the future. “Do we value the same Lord?” “Do we have same point of view?” Check it! That's the very important – VALUES.

6. HE / SHE REALLY LOVE THE LORD. Wag puro kagwapuhan / kagandahan! Una nyong dapat hinahanap sa isang lalaki o babae ay kung mahal nya ba si Lord. Alam nyo kung Bakit? Dahil mamahalin ka nito kung paanong minahal siya ni Kristo. Nakakatakot ang lalaki o babaeng walang takot sa Diyos. Hindi mo alam kung saan siya huhugot ng pag-ibig. Lalo’t kung hindi niya pa na-experience yung pagmamahal ng Diyos.

7. PRAYER IS IMPORTANT. Prayer plays a very important role when finding your spouse, and finding The One That God Allowed. Ako, I prayed really hard for my husband. AS IN!!!! Pumupunta pa ako ng prayer mountain para ipagpray lang yun. At Yes, ganun ako ka seryoso sa pagpepray sa aking partner dahil alam kong seryosong bagay yung papasukin ko and this is forever!

The One That God Allowed for you is out there somewhere pero remember: God has planned it and you can’t find him/her without God.

PS:  Prayer ko pa noon: “Lord, kung ayaw niyo siyang ibigay sa akin, ako na lang ang ibigay niyo sa kanya.”  Hahaha joke lang. Pray hard! <3

UNANSWERED PRAYER

"Ang tagal ko na itong pinagpepray, Ba't wala parin?"

"Siguro kinalimutan na ako ng Diyos."

Marahil ang ilan sa atin ay nakaranas na na hindi tugunin ng Panginoon ang ating pananalangin. Pakiramdam natin ay "Ineffective" ang ating ginagawa. Dahil doon, nagsisimula tayong magduda sa kakayahan ng Diyos. At dahil na rin sa matagal mo na itong pinagninilayan, nawalan ka na ng pag-asang mapangyayari pa ito.

"Akala ko ba nothing is impossible bat yoon lang di pa maibigay."

"Ba't sa nabasa ko, "Ibibigay ng Panginoon ang mga mabubuting bagay sa mga humihingi sa kaniya."

Narito ang mga ilang posibleng dahilan kung bakit ang iyong panalangin ay tila ba walang bisa.

1. Praying without knowing God through Faith in Jesus Christ. (John 14:6) (1 Timothy 2:15)

Baka naman par hingi ka ng hingi mali ka naman ng pinaghihingian. Meron tayong iisang Diyos at meron lamang isang daan upang ang panalangin natin ay makaabot sa Kanya, si Hesus. Dapat ang sentro ng ating pananampalataya ay na kay Hesus lamang, wala ng iba pa. Siya lang ang tanging paraan upang maabot natin ang Diyos Ama.

2. Praying without unrepentant heart.

"My heart was pure, so My master listened to me." -Psalms 66:18

Mahalaga rin na malinis ang puso natin upang tayo ay pakinggan ng Panginoon. Kailan ka humingi ng tawad bago humingi ng kung ano? Parang magulang natin yan. Baka hingi ka ng hingi ka ng pang kompyuter sa nanay mo e may kasalanan ka pa pala. Ta's galit ka pa pag di ka nabigyan. Hingi muna ng tawad pag may time.

3. Praying for show. (Matthew 6:5)

"Shems nandiyan si Kras, kailangan magmukhang mabait. Tamang dasal muna while patugtog ng hillsong para di mag mukang dibel dibel."

The bible labeled those people as hypocrites. Sila yung pag nananalangin kailangan pa ng audience. Mga plastik, pwe. Wag magbait-baitan kapatid. Baka mapunta ka sa langit langitan pag nagkataon. "Kung ang pagsunod natin ay katulad ng Eskriba at Pariseo, hindi tayo makakapasok sa kaharian ng Diyos."

Mas mabuting manalangin sa silid na ang Diyos lang ang nakakakita sayo. Mas effective yon par.

4. Praying Repetitive. (Matthew 6:7-8)

Wag paulit ulit fren. Alam na ni Lord ang mga kailangan natin bago pa humingi.

"Ba't pa kailangan manalangin kung alam narin pala niya?"

Kung advance ka mag isip, mas advance mag isip si Lord. Hindi kayang i-comprehend ng isang taong may critical thinking of cerebral cortex ang isip ng Panginoon. Alam niya kaseng di tayo matututong magtiwala, mag hintay, kung guarantee na ang kasagutan ng ating panalangin. So all in all. Make your prayer simple, but meaningful.

5. Prayers not prayed. (James 4:2)

Mababasa natin sa Ikalimang kapitulo ng sulat ni Juan. Merong taong may sakit. Alam ni Hesus na pagpapagaling ang kailangan nito. Ngunit tinanong parin ni Hesus kung gusto ba nito ng kagalingan. Kahit pa alam ni Hesus ang pangangailangan natin. Matuto parin tayong humingi. Baka kase demanding tayo na mangyari ang gusto natin. Di naman natin ito pinagpepray. Hindi si Lord ang mag aadjust para sayo Fren.

6. Praying with lustful heart. (James 4:3)

Kung ang ipinapanalangin natin ay para sa ating "self satisfaction." e.g, Kapangyarihan, Kayamanan. Wrong motive yon par. Maling mali. Tigilan ang pagiging isip bata. Ayaw ni Lord sa selfish fren. Let us spread love love love yes naman diba bimb.

7. Praying while mistreating your wife. (1 Peter 3:7)
Happy Wife = Happy Life. Totoo pala yon. "You should treat your wives with respect because they're weaker than you.” Gawin mo ang mga bagay na ito nang sa gayon ay walang hadlang sa iyong pananalangin.

Baka daw kase di ka makapag concentrate sa pagpepray habang binubungangaan ka. Charot.

8. Praying while ignoring the poor. (Proverbs 21:13

Di ka makakasumpong ng tulong kung ikaw mismo di marunong tumulong. Ganun lang yun hihe. Pero wag naman tayo tumulong sa iba kase iniisip nating may dadating na kapalit. Wrong motive parin yon. Pag ibig ang pairalin. Wag ang sariling kagustuhan yieeeeee.

9. Praying with bitternes towards others. (James 1:6-8)
Malaki din ang ginagampanan ng pagpapatawad sa kasagutan ng ating mga panalangin. "Diyos nga nagpapatawad, tao pa kaya."

"Eh hindi naman ako Diyos para mapatawad ka."

Wag mong gawing literal kapatid sa pananampalataya. Kung si Lord, na pinakamakapangyarihan sa lahat. Nagawa kang patawarin sa lahat ng yaong kasalanan. Ba't ikaw? Hindi mo kaya? Ang point dito ay paano didinggin ng Diyos ang panalangin ng isang taong mas nagmamataas pa sa kaniya.

10. Praying with a faithless heart. (James 1:6-8)

Sa mga pinuntahang lugar ni Hesus, hindi lahat ay gumawa siya ng himala. Ang dahilan nito ay kawalan ng pananalig. Ang pananalig ang pinakaimportante sa lahat. We should be a believer, not a doubter. Alam dapat natin, ang nagtitiwala tayo, sa mga bagay na kayang gawin sa buhay natin. Sinasabi sa Matthew 11:22-23 "If you believe, you will get anything you ask for in a prayer."

Kung susumahin lahat eto lang ang mga puntong kailangan tandaan sa tuwing tayo'y mananalangin.

1. Pananalig (Faith)

2. Sinseridad (Sincerity)

3. Love (Pag ibig)

Sa lahat ng ating pinananalangin, pwedeng sagot ay Yes, pwede namang No, at pwede ring "Wait ka lang, Chill, I got this, trust me."

Matthew 6:33 “The thing you should want most is God's Kingdom and doing the good things God wants you to do. Then all these other things you need, shall be given to you.”

13 REASONS WHY YOU MATTER

1.) John 3:16 "God loves you."

Let me put this on your mind: you are loved. The reason why God the father gave Jesus Christ is that He loves us and wants us to have eternal lives. I really don't understand why some people think no one loves them wherein fact, God loves them in a way they can't imagine. You matters because God loves you.

2.) Jeremiah 29:11 "God have plans for you."

In this world, only God knows what you will become, who you're going to be, what will happen to you and what the future may bring to you. Surely, when you're down, He will give you hope. When life seems so unfair, He will give you hope. When everything seems so wrong, He will give you hope. Why? Simply because He wants to prosper you. You matters because God have prepared a future for you.

3.) Philippians 4:13 "God gives you strength."

In Jesus name, there is power. In His name, nothing is impossible. Through Him, you can do all things. You can turn impossible things into possible. You matters because you can do everything since it's Christ who strengthens you.

4.) Psalm 32:8 "God will guide you."

Throughout your life, it is God who will guide you. It is God who will instruct and teach you in the way you should go. You matters because God will counsel you with His loving eye on you.

5.) Deuteronomy 31:6 "God will never leave you."

The world is full of uncertainties. Indeed, life is unfair sometimes. You might encounter chaos and dilemma along your way but you need to be strong, have courage. You should not be afraid or terrified of them because our God is greater than them. The Lord your God goes with you. You matters because He will never leave you nor forsake you.

6.) Isaiah 43:7 "God created you."

You are here on earth because it is God's will and He put you here. You are called by His name. He formed and created you to bring all the glory to Him. You matters because God created you for His glory.

7.) 1 Peter 5:7 "God cares for you."

Anxiety is a big dilemma we, youths, are facing nowadays. A simple overthinking might lead to anxiety. Having anxiety might stressed you out and worst, it might lead to depression. Now, close your eyes and cast all your fears to Him. You matters because He cares for you.

8.) 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 "God will comfort you."

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort. In times of troubles, God is more than willing to comfort us. A comfort no one can fathom. With the comfort we ourselves receive from God, we can also comfort those in any trouble. You matters because God comforts you.

9.) Psalm 55:22 "God will sustain you."

One thing that is very reassuring is that, God will never let the righteous be shaken. When it seems like you carry all the world's burdens, cast all your cares on the Lord. You matters because God will sustain you and He's willing to carry your burdens.

10.) Mark 11:25 "God will forgive."

Just as the bible says, never let the sun set without forgiving someone who committed sin to you. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them just how the Lord forgives you. You matters because your Father in heaven is capable of forgiving you no matter what, just repent.

11.) Romans 15:13 "God will give you hope."

Our God is a God of hope. He gives hope to the weak. He gives hope to the broken hearted. He gives hope to the needy. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him. You matters because God will give you hope and you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

12.) Matthew 7:7-8 "God will deliver."

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. You matters because if you ask, seek, and knock, He will deliver.

13.) 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 "God dwells in you."

Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and God's Spirit dwells in your midst? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy that person; for God's temple is sacred, and you together are that temple. You matters because God dwells in you.

MGA TIPS TO HAVE BETTER DEVOTIONAL TIME

Morning na naman! Andyan na naman yung kailangan nating magdecide kung mag-spend time ba tayo kay God o hindi. Ang hirap noh? Pero you know, worth it naman kasi it helps us to know God on a very personal way. Closeness kumbaga, BFF!

Ay nga pala, may mga tips ako sa inyo para maexercise nyo yung devotional time nyo. Konti lang naman sya, mga walo lang! Ganern! Pak! Tapos discuss discuss ng onti para kunwari matalino tayo. Hahaha!!! So eto na nga:

1. FIX YOUR DEVOTION SCHEDULE. Oh di ba ENGLISH! Galing yessss! Pero seryoso, make it clear at fix kung kailan at saan ka ba talaga magdedevotion. You know naman kasi, mahirap ang walang consistency – “taken for granted” lang ang lahat. Masakit yun lamNyoYan! Pero yun nga,  make it specific at isulat or i-alarm mo sa phone para naman maremind ka di ba? Amne-amnesiahan pa naman tayo pag time na ng devotion! Wag ganun. Okay?

2. PREPARE YOUR TOOLS. Yes!! Dala ka ng pako, martilyo, metro, screwdriver. Chareng! Syempre tools as in Bible, Notebook at Ballpen. Tapos pag medyo rich kid ng onti, highlighter at devotional books na rin! Wooohooo! Pawer! Magagamit mo lahat yan while reading His words, at kapag may nireveal si Lord sa iyo. So be prepared! <3

3. START WITH PRAYER. (Holy Tone) Syempre sa prayer naman nag-i-start lahat. So dito mo rin simulan yung devotional time mo. Ask mo si God to keep you focused at para maintindihan mo yung babasahin mo. Minsan kasi sa dami ng pinagdadaanan natin, unfocus na tayo sa pagbabasa. Kaya ask God para maging payapa at kalmado and iyong isip. J (Oha! Seryoso yan! PAK!)

4. PRIORITIZE READING BIBLE. Oh beshy kahit naman nagkalat sa Recto yung mga devotional books, i-prioritize mo pa rin ang pagbabasa ng bible. Baka naman kasi puro na lang inspirational at devotional book tapos di mo na binasa si bible. Tulungan mo yung sarili mong mapatunayan that it is in His word! Wag palitan si Bible. Masakit mapalitan. Lamoyan! HIHI

5. READ UNTIL YOU GET IT. Oh ayan ah! Kailangan naiintindihan. Madami sating ang gagaling sa scanning at skimming ng mga bible passages. Mga skaning! LOL! Mga beshy, Kahit naman nabasa nyo na yan at pamilyar na kayo sa passage, try to read it pa rin ng buong giliw. Bibohan nyo pa rin! Tutal dyan naman kayo magagaling diba? Mga bida bida! Kaya gawin nyo rin ito. God might give revelation and new understanding from the same passage na hindi mo napansin dati. So read carefully ha?

6. DO WHAT IS WRITTEN ON THE BIBLE. Okay level 10 na tayo ah. Mas mahirap na. Bale gawin daw kung anung sinasabi ng salita ng Diyos (James 1:22). Apply-Apply din tayo para naman mapatunayan natin mismo sa sarili natin na totoo nga ang mga sinasabi sa Bible. Instead of spending time sa pagdodrawing nyo ng mga friends nyo sa travel goals, gawa na lang tayo ng mga scriptural goals for the week or month. PLAN & DO IT para masaya! Promise it will help you a lot!

7. MAKE A COMMITMENT. wow! Big word noh? C-O-M-M-I-T-M-E-N-T dew! ENEBE!! Andami pa namang takot sa commitment dyan! Naku naman! Ibahin nyo ito! Commitment sa personal time with the Lord ang tinutukoy dito! So ayun na nga, ang tip ko dito, magdecide kayo kung kelan na ba talaga ang devotion schedule nyo tapos isulat nyo sa malinis na papel then pirmahan. Tapos ipost nyo somewhere in your room kung saan madali nyo makikita. Para naman maremind kayo everyday na magdevotion. Promise pag nagawa nyo to, in a month, magiging habit nyo na sya. Di ka na magkaka instant amnesia! harthart! Pag di pa rin effective, idikit nyo na sa Noo nyo! Ewan ko na lang! haha

8. DON’T GIVE UP! Oh Don’t give up ah! I know darating yung mga araw na magkakaroon tayo ng skips sa devotion natin! Pero wag tayo ma-down at sabihin na di talaga kaya! Kayang kaya mo yan! Just make it a high priority lang! Hindi naman tayo iiwan ni Lord eh. Andyan lang Siya lagi. He knows our hearts and He can use any time to teach us and to grow us in our faith! Nasa katuwiran ka kapatid kaya ipaglaban mo!! Kapit lang sa laylayan ni Kristo, para sa Pagbabago!! <3
