GOAL: WIN THEIR SOUL

Invite youth and let them know and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. That's the goal of the Youth Rapids as they conducted their Youth Fellowship at River of Life Cainta Church, June 24. 

The Youth Rapids had planned and prepared for the month's fellowship thoroughly. As part of the preparation they've conducted a corporate prayer wherein the existing youth were divided into groups and prayed together with the group they belong to, a week before the said event. They have also prepared program and activities that will be done throughout the fellowship. 

The event started with the young people getting to know each other by means of memorizing the names of everyone. Afterwards, a game that serves as an ice breaker was done. The instructions were: there will be two groups and will be separated by a curtain. As the game's mechanics, each group will have their representative and when the curtain was down, the representatives will have to say the name of their opponent. The first one who said their rival's name will have a point for their group.

Moreover, Rapids' youth gave their testimonies on how God changed them and how faithful God is in their lives. They were Sarah Joy Estrada, Frexie Hermosa, Daniel Sison, Grace Adricula and Michelle Salanguste. They have shared their life testimonies to inform the young people on what is the feeling to have Jesus Christ in your life and also to encourage them to seek Jesus first before anything else. 

After that, they were divided into small groups to make the sharing intimate. Questions were asked and let everyone voice out their answers and opinions. The sharing aims to let the youth pour out what's inside their hearts and to let Jesus in.

At the end of the fellowship, they've praised and worshipped the Lord. Glad to say, eight souls have accepted Jesus Christ which made thousands of angels in heaven rejoiced. 

Youth Rapids is beyond blessed because of how our God guide and lead them to come up on this kind of event. They are all looking forward to witness the development on spiritual life of those people that were invited. 

What makes this month's Youth fellowship meaningful and extraordinary is that more souls have accepted the Lord. This event would not be successful of course without Jesus Christ. All glory to Him!

MGA TIPS PARA MAKARATING NG ON-TIME SA WORSHIP SERVICE

1. Unang-una, matulog ng maaga. Tigilan ang kakapuyat sa Social media. Maghapon na nga eh, gusto magdamag pa?

2. Mag-alarm! Oh yung mga tulog mantika, alam nyo na!

3. Tigilan ang pagsu-subscribe sa “unlimited reasons”.

“May anak kasi ako eh” – May anak rin kaya yung iba.

“Namalengke pa ako.” – ANU ULAM? lol

“Tinatamad ako eh” – Read Proverbs 10 & 12. 

“Umulan kasi” – Pano pag tag-ulan talaga te?

And many more....

It’s just a matter of priorities and time management. Don’t get us wrong. Common naman talagang dahilan yung mga yan eh. And it happens talaga. We understand. Pero hindi yan nauubos kapatid and kung every week ganyan ang mindset mo. Iba na yan!

4. Bawas-bawasan ang orasyon sa salamin. I know you want to be presentable kaso wag OA. Tingin tingin din sa time baka 9:40AM na nagkikilay ka pa rin.

5. Isaalang-alang ang oras ng iba. Nakakaistorbo naman talaga yung mga latecomers during praise and worship. Pansinin n’yo sa sarili n'yo. Kaya kung ayaw n'yo makaistorbo, try to be on time.

PS: We don’t want people to feel guilty or sad. We believe in Grace and we know it’s available for everyone. Its just, we also believe in practical things. Kaya mo, Kaya ko, KAYA NAMAN TALAGA NATIN! So Let’s do it!! <3

1. It enables you to have the power to live your purpose on earth.

2. It will help you grow spiritually and will deepen your relationship with God.

3. Your life will be blessed as you will know what pleases God. He will give you the instructions for living your life the way He wanted you to live it.

4. If you love the word of God, you’ll find great joy and comfort reading it.

5. God’s word is totally sufficient for all your needs. It will give you the knowledge about God’s promises and glimpse of what He can do to your life.

WORSHIP GOD

Sa haba ng tatakbuhin natin sa buhay at sa paglilingkod sa Diyos, minsan darating yung point na masasaktan tayo. Makaka-experience tayo ng mga pains para marealize natin na nandiyan talaga ang Lord sa tabi natin at kasama natin S’ya kahit anu pa mang mangyari. Now, I challenge you to worship God sa kabila ng lahat ng pinagdadaanan mo kapatid. 

In times of trials, I will trust you Lord

In times of troubles, I will lift your name

In times of depression, I will bow my head and cry: “I worship you Jesus, Even this time.”

ANCHORED ON GOD APRAS OUTREACH WAS A SUCCESS!

ROLC Feeding Ministry holds an outreach program on the theme of "Grow Together with Jesus", June 2, 2018 at Apras Covered Court. 

The team beheaded the said event to reach out not just the children but also their parents. It is a matter of granting them blessings that surely put them into happiness and gratefulness.

As the said event started, a prayer was led by Mrs. Daisy Seño. The power duo, Ms. Michelle Salanguste and Mr. Joshua Alarcon, boosted the program with fun games for the kids, ensuring that the kids were at home and having fun at the same time.
ROL Caintas Sunday School teachers led the children on a groove and worship as they danced through the music of Fixin my Eyes on You. Elder Migs Vargas lead the kids into singing and worshipping God.

Further, Pastor Jeffrey Datangel binded them on a Bible story cited on a book of Luke: The Parable of a Sower where selected children portrayed the characters in the story.
Voice actor, Elder Migs Vargas and actress, Mrs. Eleonor Datangel gave life to the program and caught the attention of the crowd through a Puppet Show where the kids learned the importance of reading the Bible and praying to God.

"Thank you po sa nagturo sa amin. Natutunan po naming magdasal at magbasa ng bible," Rachel said.

Afterwards, the event become a fruitful blessing as the church blessed the children with games, prizes, foods, school supplies, and delighted them with love as well.

"Successful siya. Mabuti para sa mga bata. Nasiyahan sila," Mommy Aira said. 

Prayers, efforts, and shared funds were finally paid off as it made the event blessed and successful.
